We had a wonderful first week of Summer School! The students quickly adjusted to their new classroom environment and all of the children enjoyed getting to know each other and making new friends. Here's a look at what we've been up to...
とても素敵なサマースクールの第一週目になりました！こどもたちは新しいクラスの環境にもすぐに慣れ、新しいお友達ともすぐに仲良くなりました。今週のサマースクールでの様子をご紹介したいと思います。
Making New Friends / 友達になろう
Many of the children are Horizon students from different classes, but we also welcomed some new friends to our class. We had fun getting to know each through Morning Meeting time, music and movement activities, group games and lots of play!

We ended our week with popcorn and a movie! We enjoyed watching Ponyo with our ELC and Primary School friends.
最終日はポップコーンと映画でしめくくりました！幼稚部と小学校のお友達全員で、「崖の上のポニョ」を見ました。

For our second and final week of Summer School, our theme will be Down on the Farm. We will learn about farm life and the many animals who live on the farm. We will explore our theme through various activities, songs, games and crafts.
第二週目となる来週のサマースクールでは、Down on the Farm（牧場の生活）がテーマとなります。牧場の生活、そこで暮らす動物たちについて学びます。様々なアクティビティや歌、ゲームやクラフトを通して牧場についてたくさんの発見をしましょう！
